very grateful for
the rights and
freedoms I obtained
when I became a
citizen. The events
on 9/11 shook me to
the core, I could
barely stand to see
any pictures without
crying. These
pictures however did
make me cry. I shed
tears of joy and
pride because of the
beauty that rose
from the ashes.
