Death Valley is a land of extremes. It is one of the hottest places on the surface of the Earth with summer temperatures averaging well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. At 282 feet below the level of the sea, it is the driest place in North America with an average rainfall of only 1.96 inches a year.

 

Images are sized to 1024x768. The photo collection is in a zip folder and can be purchased with your credit card and your Pay Pal account. The top left image is a sample of what can be expected from the other photos. It can be clicked on and used as Desktop Wallpaper.

Zip file and extraction

The zip file that is purchased includes 15 images. File extraction can be done through the built-in ZIP program in Windows XP. Right-click on zip file and highlight "Extract All...". Follow on-screen instructions.

Instructions for wallpaper on PCs:

Once you click on the link and pay for the collection, a new browser window should open and a download offered of deathvalley.zip. Save the zip file to your hard disk, taking note of the location. The photographs are found in the zip file.

You might want to download/save the images in your "My Pictures" folder. Then to set the image as your wallpaper, open the image file using Internet Explorer and right click on the image, choosing "Set as Background".

Instructions for screensaver collection on PCs:

Windows XP Users:

Right click on Desktop. Choose "Properties". On the Display Properties tabs click on "Screen Saver." On the Screen Saver drop down highlight "My Pictures Slideshow." Click on "Settings" and navigate to the folder where the Death Valley images are found.

User License:

For each image in the collection, you are licensed to display the image on one PC and the ability to print the image. The images are not for commercial use. The images are not to be displayed on any type of website or print publication.
