I took this image about 5 minutes prior to the start of Noel’s Wordcamp NYC presentation. In that time span after the photo was taken many more people walked into the classroom which caused Noel’s presentation to be standing room only. Also the only open seat (as viewed in the 360) was my seat because I was taking this photograph. (Note there were several others rooms presenting Wordpress workshops during the same time period.)

Some techie stuff- The camera used is Nikon D200 with a Sigma Fisheye lens shot at 400 ISO, shutter speed was a 1/60, and aperture was 3.5. I took the 360 with a monopod. Normally if I was to shoot a 360 I would use a tripod. I did not have a tripod with me. The tripod keeps the camera in place and helps a lot with the “stitching” of the images. Hence if you look close you can see some flaws.

Here is a link to my 360VR images.

I would like to thank Noel (of Noel.io) for allowing me to snap the image.

360 VR Instructions:

Hold down the left mouse button inside the image and then drag your mouse to change the viewpoint. You can move up to shift the view towards the sky, down to shift the view towards the ground, and left or right to scan around in a full circle. Nearly all of my 360 image are capable of viewing fullscreen on your computer screen. Be sure to left click on the far right icon to enable this feature.
