A day trip around around New York City with family. First a visit to Brooklyn Bridge Park to get a great view of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Brooklyn. Then a short walk over the first part of the Brooklyn Bridge. Now back on the subway in Brooklyn en-route to the Empire State Building to get a spectacular nighttime 360 degree view of the city from the top of the Empire State Building. And finally a view of the Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center.
A souvenir from the original KFC in Corbin, KY.
“Experience just what it was like in 1940 to dine at the Harland Sanders Cafe! The restaurant, where Kentucky Fried Chicken got its start, has been carefully restored, and features the original kitchen where the Colonel perfected his Original Recipe chicken.” (http://www.chickenfestival.com)
A snapshot of the traffic as we drive through Chicago. The Sears Tower can be seen in the background.
