Brooklyn, NY- Ave X Handball Court

Bedford Ave & Avenue X in Sheepshead Bay, NY (Brooklyn) a handball court on one of the playgrounds (Bill Brown Park) are painted with this 9/11 memorial.

In the days following September 11 names of the fallen were added one by one.

Five years later, the impromptu memorial still stands.
